Madden NFL 13: Official Ratings for Every Quarterback with Grades

It's that time of year again, football fans.

On August 28, EA Sports will release their newest installment of the NFL franchise, Madden NFL 13.

In recent years the new releases have done little to improve on previous ones and have left fans wanting more.

This year, EA Sports has promised the fans to include a slew of new features and refinement of the old ones so that gamers wont have to feel guilty spending their hard-earned money on the newest version of the game.

Madden player ratings will always spark a debate.

New Orleans Saints fans will argue that Drew Brees should be 99 overall, while the Green Bay Packers faithful will argue that Aaron Rodgers should be the highest-rated gunslinger in the game.

Official quarterback ratings provided by EA Sports

Grade: B+

Overall, EA Sports did a pretty good job in handing out the appropriate ratings. Jay Cutler seems like the only quarterback you could argue to be underrated, while Matt Hasselbeck looks to be a little overrated for an aging quarterback who may not even start.

EA also did a great job rating the rookies. Luck (84), RG3 (83) and Tannehill (74) all look about right.

The player to watch when roster updates come out is Peyton Manning. A lot is still up in the air about the former MVP and if he will be able to maintain his Hall of Fame play. When Week 1 starts and Manning looks like the player of old, expect his 93 overall rating to go up. If he plays bad or is injured, he will drop.

More player ratings will be released before the Madden NFL 13 hits the market August 28, and we will keep you updated here at Bleacher Report.
