Brian Urlacher's Woes Continue; Jenny McCarthy Splits with Chicago Bears Star

The Chicago Bears' star linebacker Brian Urlacher is going to need any amount of good news, and quickly. 

People Magazine reports the Urlacher and his very famous and very lovely girlfriend Jenny McCarthy are splitsville. 

The news comes on the heels of an arthroscopic surgery the linebacker had on his left knee, where he sprained the medial collateral and posterior cruciate ligaments, according to ESPN. 

The good news there is that he is hoping to make it back for the September 9 start of the regular season. Still, one broken down knee has to hurt with the added mending of a shattered heart. 

Not so fast, because the People Magazine report states he may be losing a gorgeous girlfriend, but he is picking up one great buddy along the way.

Well, there you go, big guy. That's certainly something. 

You can now enjoy trips to the mall, long conversations over coffee or some really hot board-game action, all without the added annoyance of smooching. 

Fans of Urlacher's personal life shouldn't be all that broken up. The report maintains the relationship began sometime in May. 

Consider this a summer fling on par with the great ones in the history of such things. We now need a duet to "Summer Nights" to play us out into the fall.
