Viral Video of the Day: Michael Orozco-Fiscal Gives USA Historic Win over Mexico
The drought is over. The jinx is lifted. The spell has been broken.
The United States national team has finally beaten Mexico in Mexico.
Before last night, that had never happened before. Ever.

But last night, Jurgen Klinsmann's team went into the Azteca Stadium, defended heroically and hit El Tri with a late sucker-punch to win it.
And the historic winning goal came from…
…Michael Orozco-Fiscal.
That can't be right, can it?
Well, actually, it is. I saw it with my own two eyes. Orozco-Fiscal, the light-scoring (and sometimes light-defending) defender, popped up at the far post to tap in after Brek Shea's cross and Terrence Boyd's no-look backheel flick.
In all honesty, it was a pretty nice goal from start to finish. Mexico had chances too, but Tim Howard was a beast in goal, and Chicharito missed an absolute sitter in the second half.
Wonderful. All in all, just wonderful.
Thanks to that goal, Klinsmann has his signature win as USA coach and the Americans have the historic monkey off their backs.
And maybe, just maybe, the so-called talent gap between Mexico and America closed a little bit.
Well done, Team USA. Now, let's go qualify for the World Cup.
