NBA 2K13 Will Feature Playable 1992 and 2012 USA Dream Teams
2K Sports is again tapping into America's sense of basketball nostalgia, but this time, they are incorporating a more current flavor as well. On Wednesday, the company announced that NBA2K13 will feature both the 1992 Olympic Dream Team, and the 2012 OIympic Team, per IGN.
If you think the debates were hot and heavy before, just wait until you get a whiff of them now.
Even Michael Jordan, who has been working with 2K Sports on the NBA2K franchise for the last two years chimed in: “I think it’s going to start debates. I don’t think it’s going to end any."

Maybe not, but it will be fun trying to prove your point in the cyber world. The 2012 Olympic Team will be complete, but the Dream Team will be missing a key member.
2K Sports could not come to an agreement with Scottie Pippen, so he won't be apart of the team on the game. There is no word whether or not that means he won't appear on any of the retro Chicago Bulls' teams, but Pip is a no-go for the Dream Team.
That said, 2K was able to secure the presence of Charles Barkley. His omission from 2K12 was perhaps the most glaring, so that certainly is a plus. Ronnie Singh of 2K Sports gave tons of credit to Jay-Z—who is serving as the games' executive producer—for getting the Dream Team together.
He tweeted:

Honestly speaking, many gamers will probably just create the players that weren't included contractually.
