Jason Campbell Still Looking For New Contract
When Jason Campbell lead the Washington Redskins to a 6-2 start, people suggest that he should receive a new contract. After, the team finished 2-6 the last part of the season people changed there mind, and thought otherwise.
The way Campbell developed the first eight games, it seem that he finally understood what it took to run a team. Under Former Hall of Fame coach Joe Gibbs, Campbell's job was to manage the game and limited his mistakes.
But, first year head coach Jim Zorn gave Campbell more freedom. He gave Campbell the power to throw the ball down the field and scramble a ton. As a result, Campbell took on the roll of being a leader, and adjust well to the new West coast offense.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
When the team ended up collapsing in the second half of the season, Campbell received most all the blame.
What people felt to realize was that, the offense line was struggling, Clinton Portis a guy who the offense ran through the first eight games, was banged up with injuries. So, Campbell with a new offense became a pass first team.
In fairness to Campbell he went up against the elite defenses in the league.
Including:
1. Pittsburgh Steelers
3. Baltimore Ravens
With the media killing him,and his team unperforming it kind of came melancholy, for the Redskins fans. Every play for the Redskins offense it seem like Campbell was either running for his life, or sacked in the back field.
With the way things turned out, Campbell was not presented with a new contract. When asked of the situation Campbell said it not a big deal.
I'm not trying to pay attention to it and instead trying to help this team keep moving in the right direction," he said. "I'm letting my agent Joel Segal handle that. I'm not trying to get involved."
Quarterbacks who were rewarded with a big contract are
2. Aaron Rogers, Green bay: $20 million
3.David Garrard, Jacksonville: $20 million.
4.Derek Anderson, Cleveland: $14.5 million.
5.Matt Schaub, Houston: $7 million.
Campbell will have to wait and see, how things play out before earning his a fat contract.
