Madden 13: Calvin Johnson, Jr. and Top 10 Receivers and Tight Ends in Game

He's the cover guy so you knew he'd get some love on the ratings. EA Sports released the overall ratings for the top 10 wide receivers and tight ends on Monday, and Calvin Johnson is a 99.

It's not as if Megatron doesn't deserve the rating. He's arguably the best player on the planet, and his 2011 season was stellar.

He had 96 catches, 1681 yards and 16 TDs. He's 6'5" 236 pounds with a NBA All-Star Weekend vertical leap. That sounds like a 99 overall rating to me. I don't think EA Sports will catch any flack for maxing Megatron out.

9. Roddy White - WR - Atlanta Falcons - 94

10. Hakeem Nicks - WR - New York Giants - 94

The Patriots are the only team with two players in the top 10, but you also have to expect Victor Cruz will help make the Giants receiving corp solid as well.
