Perhaps the best thing that could have happened to Tiger Woods on Saturday was a storm to suspend play. The weekend hit and Tiger's solid play went and hid at the 2012 PGA Championship.
He began the day tied for the lead at four-under, but by the time the skies opened up he was one-under after three bogeys through seven holes.
It's hard to put a finger on what is consistently ailing Tiger in these situations. One thing that stands out is his performance on par fives. At one time, Tiger ate the world alive on the long holes. Today, they accounted for two of his three bogeys.

He's only five shots off the lead at this point, so it isn't time to panic. But when play resumes, he needs to get a solid start. If he can do that, he can still be a major factor.
If Tiger is to have a shot, he must hope the delay has a reverse effect on Rory McIlroy. McIlroy was a beast through the front nine. He jumped out to shoot four-under and grab the lead at six-under for the tournament.

The action is scheduled to resume at 7:45 a.m. ET, and the leaders will tee-off at 1:45 p.m. ET after that.
