Summer Olympics 2012: Best Athlete Tweets, Twitpics and Instagrams from Day 15
This is the next-to-last day of London 2012, so as expected, the athlete tweets are becoming more and more reflective. The accomplishments and experience of participating in an Olympic Games are sinking in.
Win or lose, there is nothing like competing in the largest and most celebrated competition in the world. Today Allyson Felix reminisces on her and her teammates' world-record performance in the track and field women's 4x100-relay.
Lolo Jones is feeling the physical fall-off, Jordan Burroughs wants to be President, and Aly Raisman and McKayla Maroney prepare for one more event.
The standout performance of the day is a toss-up between the Jamaican men's 4x100-relay and the American women's basketball team. But both were tweet-worthy on this day.
Check out Day 15 in athlete social media.
