NOC Presents Things No One Says About the 2012 London Olympics

So long and farewell to the 2012 London Olympics. You will be missed. 

The good people at NOC bring you another gem with "Sh*t No One Says About the Olympics," and it's as close to accurate as you are going to get. 

Everything you ever didn't need to say about the games is included, including:

I totally understand the rules to taekwondo.

There could also be a corollary to this with, "I totally believe the Olympic boxing event is a legitimate athletic competition without the least bit of shadiness involved."

Uh-oh, did I forget to DVR the modern pentathlon?

Laugh all you want, but there were some pretty random events that I considered to be must-see TV. It only happens every four years, but my brain completely buys into handball and trampoline as riveting television. I will miss that feeling. 

The one I have a slight disagreement with is, "does it get any more exciting than weightlifting?"

Maybe it's just me, but I watch every weightlifting event with the expectation that things will go horribly wrong. 

Unfortunately, we are right sometimes. 

Goodbye, London. I loved the Olympics, but will not miss watching live events on a tiny computer screen and then a repeat hours later. 

Also dressage...we won't miss dressage.
