Wrestlemania 25 Previews and Predictions

Just to set the record straight, I have no insider information, this is simply just predictions.

1. Money In The Bank - CM Punk, John Morrison, Evan Bourne, Carlito, MVP, Ted Dibiase, The Miz, Mr. Kennedy 

I can picture these eight wrestlers in the match as they're all young and talented, and yearning for a push.  I can see either Morrison, MVP, or Kennedy winning. 

Let me point out though that WWE has attempted to push Kennedy twice, but he suffered an injury early into each.  He must capitalize if he gets another chance.

2. ECW Title - Jack Swagger defending against Christian 

Many people believed Christian would walk out as ECW Champion tonight, but that was not the case.  Likewise, many people believe that he will walk out of Wrestlemania as Champ, but he won't here either. 

Since the draft is eight days after 'Mania, Swagger retains and we see Christian go over to Smackdown to start in a fresh feud.

3. World Heavyweight Title - Edge defending against John Cena

Vickie will continuously deny Cena a rematch for the title over the next several weeks of Raw and Smackdown.  She will grant him his rematch at 'Mania instead.  Now, I hate to disappoint all the little kids and teenage girls, but Cena will not walk out as 'The Champ'. 

Edge will retain, and then we will see what should be an entertaining program between Edge and Christian.

4. WWE Title - Triple H defending against Randy Orton

This match is going to have some excellent bulid-up over the next 5 weeks because of the Orton assault on the McMahon family.  The rage inside Hunter will continue to build and build over the next month, and he will finally get his shot against Orton. 

However, Orton will walk away as Champion, and hopefully, Hunter will be no longer involved in any major title feuds.

5. Chris Jericho vs. ..... 

I had to think long and hard on who Jericho would actually fight at Wrestlemania.  I mean, there's Flair (long-shot), Austin, Steamboat, Piper, Slaughter, Rourke, etc...  I don't believe it will be any of them though. 

I strongly believe that Jericho will fight, and lose to, Hulk Hogan.  WWE has been in talks with Hulk over the past couple weeks, and if all goes well, we could see the Hulkster for one last match.

6. Jeff Hardy vs. Matt Hardy 

Both brothers will avoid any actual match until Wrestlemania, but Matt will continue to attack and harass Jeff.  Jeff will reach his boiling point and challenge Matt to a match at 'Mania.  I can see Jeff walking out with the victory.

7. Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels

This will likely be the most anticipated match of the night, although it will likely not be the main event.  Now, there is the slight possibility that Michaels would be booked to win, but given the Undertaker's history as a performer and person in the company, he will win. 

This match will almost equal the HBK/Flair match from last year, but just without the emotions.  There will be many near falls, but Undertaker will win with his classic Tombstone Piledriver.

Those are seven matches that I can picture happening at Wrestlemania 25 this year.  Like I mentioned, I have no insider info, so don't think that I am spoiling Wrestlemania for any of you, I am simply giving my predictions.
