World's Most Excited Handball Fan Is Hilarious

Gabe ZaldivarJun 7, 2018

The Olympics, handball and the song Jump Around by House of Pain combined to make a cocktail that makes old guys with long hair dance, wiggle and hop.

The YouTube (h/t Busted Coverage) page for this brilliant moment doesn't give us a great deal to go on. What we know is that this guy is at a handball event, and he has Olympic fever.

He instantly becomes my hero of the second week for a number of reasons.

First off, he's at a handball game, a sport I am convinced would garner great ratings with even the most fair-weather sports fan.

If the WNBA can kick around for years, handball has a place in this fine country. He also shows us the best way to watch said handball game, while doing something else.

Like Day 2 of a PGA tournament or a baseball game in June, handball is best viewed while occupying your time doing other things—background noise for chores, beer drinking or jumping around in front of an arena filled with people.

I also love the fact that he is still amped over a song that is pumped into every single arena no matter the sport or time of year. Here it is driving the handball faithful.

While everyone else reacts to this song with boredom, this genius with long hair jumps around like he is instructed, giving the song the same enthusiasm we haven't seen since the early 90's.

Rock on with your bad self.
