Olympics 2012 TV Schedule: A Viewing Guide to the Most Marquee Events Remaining
With the overwhelming majority of swimming competitions done, Usain Bolt already capturing gold in the 100- and 200-meter sprints and gymnastics in the books, the 2012 London Olympics have already experienced the height of their viewing popularity.
But that doesn't mean there isn't anything left worth watching.
The basketball tournaments still must be decided, with the United States favorited in the men's and women's side. Golds in many track and field events are still up for grabs and there's a few somewhat obscure sports that always catch our eye which have yet to determine a winner.

The United States' women should have no trouble winning gold. They did beat Australia in the semifinals by 13 points to continue their unbeaten Olympic streak.
On the men's side, if LeBron James and Co. can get past a testy Argentina team that has great chemistry, they'll likely face a Spanish team featuring NBA players like Pau and Marc Gasol, Jose Calderon, and Serge Ibaka.

All four men's quarterfinals were determined by one goal, so you're bound to catch some riveting action from this captivating sport.

American Meb Keflezighi provides the best chance for the U.S. to win the men's marathon, something it has done in 40 years.
Members of the U.S. women's 4x100 team include Carmelita Jeter and Allyson Felix. The American women have not won a gold in this event since the 1996 games in Atlanta.
Justin Gatlin and Tyson Gay headline the men's team. Maurice Greene's group won the last gold for the U.S. in the 2000 games in Sydney.
