Olympic Star McKayla Maroney Inspires Legendary Albeit Unimpressed Meme

McKayla Maroney is not impressed. 

This article, your vault or even her silver medal; she isn't impressed with any ounce of it. At least, that is the impetus behind a hilarious new meme. 

The Tumblr everyone will be talking about is McKayla is Not Impressed, and it's perfect. 

The Wall Street Journal reports on the brilliant beginnings to this magical website, started by 28-year-old digital designer, Gavin Alaoen, who resides in New York City. 

Like most sports fans, he was taken with the image of Maroney standing with her silver medal on the podium for her efforts in the individual vault. 

Most assumed she would bring home the gold, including Maroney. Judging by her face, she couldn't quite bring herself to enjoy the moment. 

And so a new meme was born. Here are some samples: 

Oh, so you think the Mars rover Curiosity landing was epic, do you? McKayla thinks landing a person there would be better. 

OMG did you see that diver who back flopped at the Olympic...wow. Way to ruin our good time. 

You have to love double rainbows. Even someone with your cynical views can see the beauty in this. 

Fine, there is no way you can deny a perfect Mortal Kombat score is without its merit. 

And so on, and so forth. 

There is really an endless supply of possibilities for McKayla to scoff at with her now classic smirk. And she even approves of the meme, sort of.
