Summer Olympics 2012: Best Athlete Tweets, Twitpics and Instagrams from Day 11
As prominent athletes from Week 1 wrap up their time and athletes from Week 2 focus on competition, the tweets have slowed a bit.
At the very least, they've changed in nature, as many have realized their dreams or fallen flat in their pursuit.
Through the first 11 days a few athletes have become some of my favorites on Twitter, and many of them chimed in today.

Because of their entertaining tweets over the last week-and-a-half, I'll be paying regular attention to Tom Daley, Kevin Love, Lolo Jones, Kerri Walsh and Jason Richardson. There is a fine line between being an annoying Twitter presence and an entertaining one.
Those athletes stay on the right side of the line for me. That said, here's the day in jock speak:
