Preview

The Orange are struggling down a slippery slopeโ€”after starting the season 16-1, they have since gone 3-7. Of their seven Big East wins, six have come against unranked opponents. After reaching the top 10 in rankings in January, the Orange have now slipped out of the Top 25 altogether.

St. John's is coming off their fourth conference win of the seasonโ€”a five-point win over Seton Hall. Their other three wins have come over Notre Dame, Rutgers, and South Florida.

The Red Storm haven't been playing all that well this seasonโ€”especially since they lost their senior star, Anthony Mason Jr., at the beginning of the season.

The Orange have five players averaging double-digit pointsโ€”a very impressive stat given their recent record. Compare that to St. John's two, and you can see how the Red Storm are, most likely, going to be outmatched.
