Bridgestone Invitational 2012: Day 2 Leaderboard Updates, Highlights and More
Jim Furyk continued his excellent play at the WGC Bridgestone International, posting a second round four-under par 65.
The fabled Firestone Country Club is hosting Day 2 of the WGC Bridgestone International PGA Tour tournament from Akron, Ohio.
This storied tournament is featuring the top 50 players in the world and 28 other invited competitors. There will be no cut for this tournament, no matter how bad someone may fall off the fairway of their game.
Jason Dufner, K.T. Kim and Luke Donald played late and got within striking distance before all was said and done on Day 2 of the tournament.
Tiger Woods remains at two-over par. His quest to become the first golfer to win the same tournament eight times looks to be slipping away, for now at least.
