WWE Rumors: Undertaker, Chris Jericho and Friday's Top WWE Buzz
Despite my many gripes with WWE right now, optimism is enough to carry you though the mind-numbingly dumb things that the company does at times.
For every minute of John Laurinaitis sucking air time, there is Brock Lesnar returning or Rock wrestling at WrestleMania again.
SummerSlam, a former pay-per-view beacon that has fallen on hard times recently, could make a nice comeback this year.

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
With Triple H and Brock Lesnar, there is a feud that, while it features two part-time stars, has the potential to be very good as long as they move away from contracts and a Paul Heyman-Stephanie McMahon rivalry.
Optimism is sanity in WWE, so look forward to SmackDown tonight and Raw on Monday for what could happen.
UNDERTAKER NOT DOING WRESTLEMANIA?
Even though we all assume it's a given, Undertaker made some comments during his appearance at Florida Championship Wrestling this week about WrestleMania that were, shall we say, interesting.
A fan told him he goes to WrestleMania every year, just like Undertaker, who responded with, "Well, don't make any plans for April..."
Question on Everybody's Mind: Will Taker really bail on WrestleMania?
Our Take: Undertaker is a worker extraordinaire. He is not going to give anything away, no matter what. The news of Michelle McCool having a baby might change some plans, but if Taker is healthy, I can't see why he wouldn't work WrestleMania.
Hype Meter: 3 out of 5 33-Pound Heads
I've never been one of those people who thought Undertaker would get a huge sendoff when he does retire. He stays in character so much so that it would not fit to have everyone say goodbye. He will just sort of fade away, though I don't see it happening right now.

CHRIS JERICHO CONFIRMS WHAT EVERYONE KNEW
While everyone has talked about Jericho's WWE future for a long time, no one knew exactly when he would be leaving again. Who better to go to than the source, as Jericho said during a radio interview that Aug. 13 is the end for him, at least right now.
Question on Everybody's Mind: So, Jericho isn't doing SummerSlam?
Our Take: Until I actually see him miss the show, I am not buying he won't be there. I think that will be the absolute last day for him, at least until Fozzy gets done touring. But really, who knows? I don't even think Jericho knows right now.
Hype Meter: 2 out of 5 Lite Brites
Jericho hasn't had the kind of impact that we hoped he would when he returned. He has been good, but between the suspensions and inconsistent appearances, it has been hard for him to build any momentum.

WWE HAVING MIXED OPINIONS ON FORMER D-X MEMBERS
The return of D-X two weeks ago left quite an impression on WWE officials. According to a report, the company liked what Billy Gunn was able to bring to the show, but much less enthused about X-Pac's appearance and performance.
Question on Everybody's Mind: What does this mean for the future?
Our Take: Billy Gunn, while he has not always been a Triple H fan, does have enough left in him for some more matches. Nothing he does would be high-profile, because he just isn't that big a deal. But keeping him around as a guy who can help youngsters might not hurt anything.
Hype Meter: 5 out of 5 Fame-Assers
Give Triple H some credit here. With the way Gunn talked about him after leaving WWE a few years ago, Triple H would have been justified in not wanting anything to do with him. Instead, Gunn got to have a nice Raw moment and that could lead to more.
