Viral Video of the Day: Sergio Ramos Whips Kaka in Olympic-Style Swimming Race
At last. We finally know why Sergio Ramos really cut off all that hair.
Less hair means less resistance in the pool. Less resistance in the pool means a faster time swimming in Olympic-style races with one of your teammates.
And, clearly, a faster time in an Olympic-style swimming race against one of your teammates means you land a spot in Thursday's B/R Viral Video of the day.

Take a bow, Sergio. You deserve it. Not you, Kaka.
Let's back up.
In today's video, we see Real Madrid players Sergio Ramos and Kaka competing in a 50-meter freestyle swimming race. The race appears to have taken place at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), one of the sites of Real Madrid's preseason training this summer.
With the Olympics in full swing, and with these professional footballers apparently having too much time on their hands, it's not surprising at all that they'd cook up a scheme like this.
Also unsurprising are those manly bikini bottoms, the kind of garb normally reserved for Olympians. Way to go, fellas. You're letting it all hang out, and you are not afraid.
What actually is surprising is the degree to which Sergio Ramos whips Kaka. Sure, Kaka is like 30 now, which is pretty much ancient in world football.
This, though, is just plain embarrassing.
Which brings us back to the hair. Long, flowing and completely unsuited for swimming races, Sergio's long locks bid us adios back before Euro 2012. At that time, we figured he was going for a new look.
Now I think we all know better.
