While the United States basketball team dominates their pool, Spain is building its case as the best challenger for a gold medal.

The Spanish squad is full of talent, and they are one of few teams still undefeated after two rounds of play.

Great Britain has less experience than their opponents, but they have kept their two games close and have been slowly improving throughout.

Great Britain was not expected to do much in these Olympic games, but the players still think they should win every time they step on the court.

Forward Drew Sullivan discussed the upcoming games with the Hornsey Journal.

Most Important Player to Watch: Luol Deng

The Chicago Bulls star is easily the best player on Great Britain, and the team needs him to perform well if they want to pull the upset.

In the five-point loss to Brazil, Deng filled up the scoresheet with eight rebounds and seven assists, but made only three of this 13 shots from the floor. He needs to shoot better and carry his team on the scoreboard.

Spain allowed Yi Jianlian to finish with 30 points and 12 rebounds, so a big game is not out of the question for Deng.

Key Matchup: Pau Gasol vs. Pops Mensah-Bonsu 

Great Britain does not have a lot of size to match up with the Gasols inside, but Mensah-Bonsu has to do his best to stay with the talented forwards.

Mensah-Bonsu was a key player for George Washington University a few years back, and he can still rebound with the best of them.

If he does get overpowered inside, however, Pau Gasol will have a field day and score at will in a blowout win.

Prediction

Great Britain has not shown that they are at the level of the world's top teams. Spain's frontcourt of Pau and Marc Gasol, along with Serge Ibaka off the bench, provides as good of an inside game of any team in the competition, including the United States. 

The Spanish team should win this game easily as it continues their quest to win the pool and eventually contend for the gold medal.
