Viktoria Komova and Olympics Stars You Cannot Miss
Viktoria Komova is one of the top stars to watch during the medal events on Day 4 of the 2012 Summer Olympic Games.
With medals up for grabs in gymnastics, judo, weightlifting and swimming, Tuesday promises to be a fantastic day of Olympic competition.
Let's look at the three top stars to watch on Day 4.
Michael Phelps, United States of America
After winning the silver medal in the 4x100-meter relay on Sunday, American swimming star Michael Phelps will attempt to win his second medal of the London Olympics in the men's 200-meter butterfly on Tuesday.
The butterfly is one of Phelps' better events, so there is a great chance he earns a medal. However, Phelps will have some tough competition for the gold medal, including Japan's Takeshi Matsuda, who won his semifinal heat on Monday.
Phelps' pursuit of the all-time Olympic medal record will continue in the 200-meter butterfly, which makes this one of the day's can't-miss events. It will begin at 2:47 p.m. ET.
Viktoria Komova, Russia
Komova is one of the brightest stars in women's gymnastics and will be a key part of Russia's gold-medal chances in the all-around team final on Tuesday.
She took home the silver medal in the individual all-around at the World Championships last year, so Komova has plenty of experience in this event.
If there is anyone who can prevent the United States from earning the gold medal in the team and/or the individual all-around events, it's Komova.
She is a very polished gymnast and rarely makes mistakes. Not winning at least the silver medal in the all-around would be a disappointing result for Komova.
Abby Wambach, United States of America
Wambach and the United States women's soccer team will be back in action on Tuesday against North Korea in their third and final group stage match.
Wambach has been in fine form at the Olympics. She has scored a goal in each of her team's first two games, and against a weak North Korea defense, Wambach could easily add to her goal total.
The most exciting event for American viewers on Tuesday will be this soccer match, where Wambach will be at the center of the United States' exciting attack, which also includes star Alex Morgan.
