Manchester United Transfer Report: Utd to Re-Open Negotiations for Lucas Moura
If reports are to be believed, Manchester United are set to re-open negotiations for long-time transfer target, Lucas Moura.
Several reports in Brazil, including football publication Lance, have revealed that Lucas' parents Jorge and Fatima have arrived in England to follow their son at the ongoing Olympic soccer tournament (h/t manutd.com).
However, the story speculates that there may be another agenda to the visit—that of re-opening discussions with United over a possible summer transfer. It goes on to say that, up until now the issue that has deadlocked negotiations has been predominantly that of the player's agent, Wagner Ribeiro's fee.

It seems that United and Moura's club Sao Paulo would have already concluded a deal by now, if it weren't for a dispute over the player and his representative's commission.
On Sunday, Lucas got his first taste of the famed Old Trafford atmosphere, playing the final five minutes in Brazil's 3-1 win over Belarus.
When subbed on, the crowd's reaction to a player they may be seeing more of in the coming years was noticeably enthusiastic.
With Brazil having already secured qualification into the next round of the tournament, fans can expect Lucas to feature more in the nation's final group-stage clash with New Zealand at St James Park in Newcastle.
Manchester United have seemingly gone quiet on the transfer front, despite the fact that they are openly in the market for new players.
Nevertheless, if the club are to regain dominance, not just domestically but in Europe as well, they would do well to dip back into the transfer market one more time.
Lucas Moura may just be the final piece of the puzzle.
