German Cyclist Robert Forstemann's Thighs Dominate Olympic Discussion
Could we possibly interest you in a pair of thighs to go along with your Olympic coverage? German cyclist Robert Forstemann is currently walking around on tree trunks and we have pictures.
With a simple tweet, the world is left to welcome the eighth wonder of the world—this guy's thighs.
NBC Sports caught wind of a tweet sent out by New Zealand cyclist Greg Henderson. It seems there was an impromptu "quad off" between fellow countrymen Forstemann and Andre Greipel.
"You thought Greipel has a big set of legs. There was a quad off in the German camp today. Greipel lost. twitter.com/Greghenderson1…
— Greg Henderson (@Greghenderson1) July 27, 2012"
Even "The Hulk" thinks these thighs are ridiculous.
My initial reaction was one of fear as well as the need to shout "fake" at my computer screen. In fact, these monsters are absolutely real.
The Daily Mail informs us Forstemann was on the UCI Track Cycle team that won the world championship. However, he has been omitted from the sprint for these Olympics.
The real issue we have is knowing we have seen these legs before. Oh, yeah.
Yes, the only proper way to describe these mammoth quad muscles with the use of a cartoon, because they are enormous to the point of being just silly.
