UFC Fight Night: Opinions on April 2 Cards

Hello Everyone,

My name is Brandon and I like to train in MMA and I never miss a fight in the UFC. This is probably one of the best sports out there right now and the most growing sport at that. It's not cool to watch people get beat up, but to watch amazing athletes compete at the highest level and put on an awesome show. 

As for the matchups on the UFC Fight Night coming up on April 2, I think that majority of them are good. There are a few fighters I personally don't think have a real good future in this sport but you have to give them a chance, right? One of those fighters was on the Ultimate Fighter 6, Tommy Speer. Granted he made it to the finals with Mac Danzig, I cant see his future in this sport skyrocketing any time soon. I think he is better off staying back on the farm and doing what he knows best.

Another fighter that I don't think will make it very far is George Sotiropoulos. He also was off The Ultimate Fighter 6; he has a great attitude and you can tell he likes the sport, but you need to have a natural ability to move like a fighter and think like one too. I personally like him and would like to see him advance but in his weightclass he has a lot of competition. Which brings me to the next fighter.

Clay Guida has fought a lot of well known fighters and has done good. He has a future in this sport I think. When he fights he never lets the other competitor a chance to relax, he is a face paced fighter. Also, if you watch him carefully you can see how low his stance is to the ground, thus making it extremely difficult to be taken to the ground. As for the last fighter I will write about, it's Manny Gamburyan. We all remember him from The Ultimate Fighter 5 finale. He has a solid stance and is a hard hitter. He reminds me of a little ball of muscle that keeps on pressing. He definitely has a spot in the UFC. 

As for all the other fighters such as Joe Lauzon, Kenny Florian, Houston Alexander, and Karo Parisyan; they have already shown what they can do which is why well be seeing a lot of them. Well see you at the next UFC Fight Night!
