The IPL is not only a exciting and interest generating thing but also a thing which helps in preparing players for the upcoming T20 matches in the world of cricket. It helps the players from all over the world to learn and play T20 matches. This will be a good preparation for the T20 World Cup in England.

In the IPL some players play against players who play with them in international cricket. So the know how to tackle the bowlers and urge the batsmen to throw away their wickets because they have played with them a lot. The IPl also gives a chance to players who have not played T20 cricket at all to enjoy the fun of playing T20 matches.

The 8 teams of the IPL are Rajasthan Royals, Kolkatta Knight Riders, Kings XI Panjab, Mumbai Indians, Delhi Daredevils, Bangalore Royal Challengers, Deccan Chargers and the Chennai Super Kings.

In the 2008 season Rajasthan Royals won the tournament. But this year it can be some other team. This time some players have gone into other teams and some have opted out of the IPL.

But this time Delhi Daredevils have a good chance of winning because both the openers Gautam Gambhir and Vireder Sehwag are in red hot form. Bowler Amit Mishra is also in a good form after a great bowling performance in tests against Austalia he might do something extrodinary in the IPL.

Mumbai Indians can also win because Sanath Jayasuriya is in good form and even though Sachin Tendulkar Hasn't performed well in Sri Lanka because of poor umpiring decisions he looked to be in good form. Kings XI Panjab also have a good chance because Yuvraj Singh has just won the man of the series award in Sri Lanka and is in good form.

Chennai Super Kings captain M. S Dhoni is also in good form. Yes I am mostly talking about Indian players because Indai are the world T20 champions. But will they win the T20 World Cup? Who knows? But being an Indian fan let me wish India all the best for the T20 World Cup and the BCCI for the IPL.
