London 2012: Team USA's Best Hopes for Olympic Gold on Day 3

Each and every day during the 2012 Olympic Games in London, Bleacher Report is highlighting select athletes from the United States who we feel have the best chance to make the podium in their respective events.

Day 3 of the London Olympics brings another 12 medal events. Thirty-six medals in total will be awarded in diving, fencing, gymnastics, judo, shooting, swimming and weightlifting.
