WWE: Predicting the Top Superstars for August
For me, July was hot. Both in terms of weather conditions and in terms of WWE programming.
RAW 1000 was a big deal and it delivered.
Now, as the month comes to a close, we have a new spectacle to look forward to in August—SummerSlam!
And a month that has the 25th summer extravaganza should be as hot as the one we are finishing.
So, in the spirit of competition that marks the summer games, I am predicting the top superstars for the next month.
The Method
1 of 7The contestants will be given rating points. This will depend on the following:
1. Championship
Championship points—10 for WWE title, nine for World Heavyweight Title, seven for midcard titles, five each for Divas/Tag titles
Will be multiplied by probability of title reign.
In case of multiple titles for the same superstar, higher ranked title will be considered.
2. Quality of Matches
On a scale of 1-10
3. Feud
On a scale of 1-10
4. TV Time
Scale of 1-10 for amount and 1-10 for quality
Only active wrestlers who have wrestled more than five matches in the last year will be considered.
The Divas
2 of 71. AJ
Championship — 5 (for Divas title) x 0.2 (As GM, there is a chance she'll put herself into a feud) = 1
Quality of Matches — 4
Feud — 6 (as GM)
TV Time — 8( quantity), 7 (quality)
Total — 28
2. Layla
Championship — 5 (for Divas title)
Quality of Matches —5
Feud — 3
TV Time — 2 (quantity), 5 (quality)
Total — 20
3. Vickie Guerrero
Championship — Unlikely
Quality of Matches — 3 (at best)
Feud — 4
TV Time — 7 (quantity), 3 (quality)
Total — 17
The Jobbers
3 of 71. Heath Slater
Championship — 0.5 (Outside chance of a tag team title reign)
Quality of Matches — 6 (he sells!)
Feud — 3
TV Time — 4 (quantity), 7 (quality)
Total — 20.5
2. Tyson Kidd
Championship — 0.5 (Outside chance of a tag team title reign)
Quality of Matches — 6
Feud — 3 (if he gets one with Tensai)
TV Time — 3 (quantity), 5 (quality)
Total — 17.5
3. Zack Ryder
Championship — 0.5 (Outside chance of a tag team title reign)
Quality of Matches — 5
Feud — 2
TV Time — 3 (quantity), 5 (quality)
Total — 15.5
Tag Teams
4 of 71. R-Truth / Kofi Kingston
2. Prime Time Players
3. Primo y Epico
Since the current booking trend is likely to continue (at least into SummerSlam), this should be how the teams remain throughout August. Unless the WWE does a real swerve and pushes the Puerto Ricans or the Usos (which is what the fans want, anyway!)
Midcard
5 of 71. The Miz
Championship — 7 (Intercontinental title)
Quality of Matches — 7
Feud — 5 (Christian? Orton? Mysterio?)
TV Time — 5 (quantity), 7 (quality)

Quality of Matches — 7
Feud — 5 (whoever he feuds with, he can work it)
TV Time — 4 (quantity), 6 (quality)
Total — 24.1
3. Santino Marella
Championship — 7 (US Title)
Quality of Matches — 3
Feud — 4
TV Time — 5 (quantity), 3 (quality)
Total — 21
The Main Eventers
6 of 71. CM Punk
Championship — 10
Quality of Matches — 9
Feud — 9
TV Time — 8 (quantity), 9 (quality)

Quality of Matches — 7 (8 with CM punk, 5 with other opponents)
Feud — 9
TV Time — 10 (quantity), 7 (quality)
Total — 37
4. Dolph Ziggler
Championship — 9 x 0.3 (30% chance of cashing in MITB briefcase, to become World Heavyweight Champion) = 2.7
Quality of Matches — 9
Feud — 5
TV Time — 5 (quantity), 8 (quality)
Total — 29.7
