Manchester United Transfer Report: Is Nuri Sahin Heading to Man Utd on Loan?
Reports are emerging today that Real Madrid's central midfielder Nuri Sahin is heading to the English Premier League on a season-long loan deal.
Spanish newspaper AS reveals that the Turkish playmaker has agreed to join a top English club on loan, but does not reveal which club he is heading to (via ESPN).
Marca, another Spanish publication, lists the Gunners as the No. 1 contender for Sahin's signature.

Also linked are Premier League clubs Manchester United and Tottenham, as both English clubs are currently shopping for new players.
United are mooted as a possible destination, with Goal.com having run with a story linking the Red Devils with a move for the player a week ago. United's lack of depth in central midfield is well known by those who follow the EPL.
Sahin has been left out of Real's squad for their upcoming friendly with Benfica, fuelling rumours of a possible move.
He is coming off the back of a very disappointing season in Madrid, making only four league appearances after making a highly publicised move from German side Borussia Dortmund last summer.
Sahin has also earned 31 caps for the Turkish national team, having made his debut as a teenager in 2005.
A loan deal would certainly be an ideal move for Sir Alex Ferguson, with little risk attached if the player were to disappoint.
But with Arsenal the current favourites to secure the player, it remains to be seen whether or not the United boss will get his man.
