WWE: Company is in a Good Situation Following Raw 1000

Like any champion, the need to be dominant is important to the ultimate success of his career. The WWE needs to follow this model as it moves toward SummerSlam and the rest of the summer months. After Raw 1000 Monday night, there are a lot of good things the company can hang its hat on and move forward to enhance.

But too often, the company that boasts being the best product in the business gets caught up in story lines that do not work or have athletes who fail to meet expectations.

This is a prime time for the company to step on the “jugular” of sports entertainment industry and move forward.

After seeing stars such as Daniel Bryan, CM Punk, John Cena, The Rock and Dolph Ziggler all give great performances Monday night (should I mention Chris Jericho, The Miz and Sheamus as well?), the company that falls short from time to time is in the best situation it can be heading into SummerSlam.

And personally, I cannot wait until August 19 for the PPV to exceed expectations and give us something to think about heading into the fall and end of the year.

Yes, it is a great time to be a wrestling fan, especially of the WWE.

Does The Rock now have a greater role in the WWE since he was attacked by CM Punk? What happens to John Cena and Punk and Big Show? Do the actions of CM Punk Monday night mean the voiceless have no voice anymore? Can anyone tell me why A.J. is now the Raw general manager?

All great questions without any answers to be had.

That is why this soap opera gets better and better. And now that The Miz is a champion again and there seems to be infighting between Dolph Ziggler, Alberto Del Rio and Chris Jericho, will the three meet in a three-way dance at SummerSlam?

Does Brock Lesnar’s reappearance finally mean he is getting back in the ring before the PPV, or was that just a little sample?

And if the impossible happens, where The Rock and John Cena become allies, what does that say for CM Punk? Who becomes his dance partner? Big Show, Daniel Bryan or Wade Barrett (just throwing it out there)?

Yes, this looks to be a great PPV event upcoming. And we can thank Vince McMahon for giving us a sample at Raw 1000, the biggest event of the year since WrestleMania.

Yes, wrestling is great again. And it will only get better.
