* ESPN College GameDay will be at the Erwin Center for Texas-Oklahoma:
The show’s taping is open to the public. Doors on the west side of the Erwin Center open at 8 a.m., with taping beginning at 9 and the full “GameDay” show airing from 10 to 11 a.m.

Report: Biggest Spenders in Men's CBB 🤑
* Rick Barnes doesn’t want to hear Tournament talk:
“I don’t understand why people want to speculate,” Barnes said. “I think it’s stupid. Somebody asked me, ‘Do you think you’re in today?’ It doesn’t matter if you are in today.”
* Oklahoma State Cowgirls shock the Lady Longhorns:
The Cowgirls knocked off the 12th-ranked Longhorns 58-52 in front of 5,190 fans. The win allowed Oklahoma State to snap a four-game losing streak, which coincidentally, started the last time the teams met in Stillwater.
The loss ended UT’s run of five straight victories in conference play. It was only the second time this season Texas has lost on its home court. Two weeks ago, the Longhorns dominated Oklahoma State 91-74.
* Longhorn Hoop recruit Avery Bradley has been named a McDonald’s All-American:
Coach Rick Barnes has signed 10 McDonald’s players out of high school: Brian Boddicker, T.J. Ford, Brad Buckman, LaMarcus Aldridge, Daniel Gibson, Mike Williams, C.J. Miles, Kevin Durant, D.J. Augustin, and now Bradley.
* Chance Ruffin will start the opening game for baseball team:
Sophomore right-hander Chance Ruffin, the Longhorns’ best pitcher in the second half of 2008, will start Friday in Texas’ season-opener against University of Illinois-Chicago, according to Texas coach Augie Garrido.
