Texas Football: Check out Mack Brown's Best Entourage Ever
College football media day is a chance for everyone to catch up on the offseason. We have not seen or heard from players or coaches for a few months, and media days provides us with the opportunity to get familiar with everybody once again before the season starts.
It is also a chance for everyone to pounce on coaches the moment they say something off-the-wall. And while the Big 12 coaches aren't exactly the type to ruffle anyone's feathers, we must find something else to keep us entertained for these couple of days.

He did what? No, this has to be made up, he seriously did not bring cheerleaders to media day. (Via John E. Hoover of Tulsa World)
"Mack Brown just walked into the writer's room with 10 cheerleaders. I kid you not. They're standing next to the dais. #Big12MediaDays

Maybe this was to take some of the attention away from the quarterback controversy going on in Austin. Or the fact that Brown may be on the hot seat, after winning just 12 combined games in the last two seasons.
Whatever the reason, I'm sure there weren't many that were complaining or asking many questions.
