WWE Raw 1000: Would CM Punk or Daniel Bryan Have the Better Match with the Rock?
The best part about the three-way verbal showdown between The Rock, CM Punk and Daniel Bryan is the possibility of two amazing matches. It may very well be someone else all together, John Cena for example, but Bryan and Punk should be in the mix.
Daniel Bryan's tantrum after his wedding night was ruined saw him stand face to face with the WWE champ and The Great One. The Rock tossed around some hilarious insults.
He then announced he would face the WWE Champion at Royal Rumble 2013, whoever that may be.

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
Assuming that either Punk or Bryan is the man holding the gold come January, who would have the better match with The Rock?
Case for CM Punk
Punk has proven over the course of still rising career that he can deliver in the biggest spotlights. His matches with Jeff Hardy, Cena and Chris Jericho at major pay-per-views have been some of the best clashes in recent memory.
He has a feel for milking drama and for turning pre-match face offs into heart-quickening moments.
His varied offense would pair well with Rock's. His kicks, knees and submissions would make for an intriguing chemistry.
For Punk, it could be a defining opportunity. He has yet to truly be the face of WWE despite being the WWE Champion since November. The storyline of him taking the next step of his career would have fans deeply interested.
Punk is a big enough star, fast enough in the ring and talented enough in-ring storyteller to make a battle with the Rock a classic.
Case for Daniel Bryan
The best technical wrestler in the WWE could have a great match with anybody. As the smaller man and abrasive underdog, Bryan would make an ideal opponent for The Rock's return at Royal Rumble.
Bryan's submissions, kicks and aerial moves would sync up well with The Rock's power. The Rock Bottom could be countered into the Yes Lock. These two men could have an enthralling back and forth match.
Bryan has grown in recent months from being just a great technician to a great performer.
His facial expressions in the ring tell a fantastic story. His promos have improved exponentially.
Verdict
WWE fans would be thrilled with either Bryan or Punk battling The Rock. Both men have delivered classic matches and will certainly bring a ton more.
Bryan has an edge in the technical department, but Punk vs. Rock might have more drawing power.
WWE can't lose either way.
Their best bet would be to insert both Bryan and Punk in a Triple Threat match against The Rock. Both of the young guys could further their own feud and further their careers with a strong showing against The Great One.
The Rock puts fans in the seats regardless of his opponent. Having WWE's best young talent in the ring with one of their legends is a win-win situation.
