That didn’t happen last night against the Clemson Tigers, and its not likely to happen at the Comcast Center in back-to-back home games against North Carolina and Duke.
Duke is their best chance for a look from tournament officials, because they are the only team in the ACC that is as small and nonathletic as Maryland.
The Terrapins’ saving grace is a 4-1 home record in conference, and grace is exactly what they’ll need for North Carolina, Duke and Wake Forest to close at their home remaining home games.
The Terps need a miracle. They are unlikely to get it.
