WWE News: Former Divas Champion to Return Tonight at Raw 1,000

After many weeks away from WWE, you can count Kelly Kelly among the performers who will be returning tonight at Raw's 1,000th show. Wrestlezone reports (by way of the Observer):

According to The Wrestling Observer, absent Diva Kelly Kelly is scheduled to make her TV return on tonight's 1,000th edition of Raw.

Kelly has been off TV for several weeks now after WWE granted her a leave of absence.

Seeing as how Kelly has been away for so long, I'm wondering what her return is going to mean to the Divas division.

With Kharma likely gone (sigh), there is probably not going to be an immediate boost to the women's division until performers like Paige, Sophia Cortez and Raquel Diaz—all of whom WWE are ladies that WWE think are the future of the division—are brought up to the main roster (Wrestlezone).

Then again, with all the momentous angles likely to begin tonight at Raw 1,000, it's entirely possible that we may see the beginning of the "Diva Revolution" by having a new female performer come out and beat up Kelly, thereby allowing her to leave for good. Of all of the new ladies (again, we're not factoring in Kharma here), Cortez makes the most sense seeing as how her gimmick has been the "anti-Diva."

Otherwise, I'm wondering if this is just a way to bring Kelly back to the roster for a little while, capitalize on her popularity for a bit and then let her disappear again.
