Dan TalintyreJun 7, 2018

Manchester United are once again in the thick of it throughout the summer transfer window—selling, buying and removedly interested in a plethora of players.

So once again, we've put all the latest rumors and updates in the one location for you to mull over and see who could be coming to Old Trafford this summer.

Will Leighton Baines make a move? Is Lucas Moura worth the money? Can United land the most wanted man in football, Robin van Persie?

Read on to see all the latest Manchester United transfer news.

Robin Van Persie

1 of 7

The hottest rumor this summer is as to where Arsenal striker Robin van Persie will end up after the Gunners star confirmed he would not re-sign with the club at the end of the year.

Manchester City, Juventus and Manchester United are believed to be in a three-horse race to sign the Dutch international, with United moving further forward as the most likely of those three.

Van Persie himself is on record as saying he would like a move to United over City or Juventus, and would be a huge addition to the Red Devils squad this season. Having said that, we're unlikely to see this saga resolved any time soon.

Lucas Moura

Lucas Moura is without doubt United's top priority in the transfer window with the Red Devils desperately trying to sign the teenager from Sao Paulo.

The latest in is that the two clubs have agreed upon a £26 million deal with personal terms to be finalized, though no official announcement has been made by either party.

United defender Rafael has confirmed that his Brazilian teammate is "excited" about a possible move to Old Trafford—which could be enough for United to continue their interest in the starlet.

Moussa Dembele

Manchester United are also rumored to be interested in signing Moussa Dembele from Fulham.

The Cottagers obviously don't want to sell Dembele, but with star striker Clint Dempsey possibly on his way out of the club, they will reportedly accept an offer of £15 million for the Belgian international.

Dembele would add great depth to the Red Devils' squad, though it is unlikely he would feature prominently in a starting lineup—especially if a move from Robin van Persie or Lucas Moura ends up taking place.

Leighton Baines

4 of 7

Sir Alex Ferguson confirmed during the week that left-back was a position that Manchester United were looking to consolidate on during the transfer window, meaning that the chase for Everton defender Leighton Baines is back on again.

Baines is arguably the best left-back in the country and is viewed as a natural replacement for Patrice Evra in United's defensive line—though Evra would still probably hold his starting position ahead of the England international should any move take place.

Shinji Kagawa

Manchester United's first signing of the summer transfer window, Shinji Kagawa, has greatly impressed manager Sir Alex Ferguson in his first appearance for the club.

"

"He's been outstanding. His training performances have been very good. There will be no problems with him settling into the club.

"What we identified about Kagawa is exactly what I'm seeing now. The difference is that our players are realizing his qualities."

After falling down the strikers' pecking order at Old Trafford, Dimitar Berbatov looks set to leave Manchester United this summer—now just to find a potential landing destination.

Turkish champions Galatasaray are believed to be in talks with the 31-year-old, though Tottenham, AC Milan and West Ham have all been touted as possibly making a move for the striker.
