Most Important Player to Watch: Tyson Chandler
Team USA has athleticism on the perimeter in spades and that figures to be its calling card when the team goes for the gold medal in London. With elite talents such as LeBron James, Kobe Bryant and Kevin Durant on the wing, there's no doubt that the Americans will prefer to get in the open court and overwhelm opponents in transition.
However, when teams are able to effectively slow down the pace, Tyson Chandler will be a pivotal piece in the interior. Due to injuries, Chandler is one of the few established players on the front line that can alter a game defensively.
Because of the lack of size, Chandler's role will become magnified as the competition gets tougher and Argentina certainly represents one of the biggest challenges in the entire field with another tough test against Spain right around the corner.
Prediction
Expect neither team to go all-out in this game as both expect to be serious players in Pool A and will play each other once pool play begins.
That being said, it's hard to envision a scenario where Team USA's athleticism and explosiveness doesn't overtake that Argentinians in this exhibition. Expect Argentina to hang on early before USA opens up a lead in the second half.
