John Cena Will Win the WWE Championship at Raw 1000

As was announced last Monday on Raw, John  Cena will be cashing in his Money in the Bank contract against CM Punk on the 1000th episode of Raw this coming Monday night.

This all seems very coincidental, which makes it seem like a sure thing that Cena will likely defeat CM Punk on Monday.

Few can doubt that John Cena is the poster boy of the WWE. On this monumental occasion, it seems perfect for Cena to regain the WWE Championship in the Main Event and carry the WWE into SummerSlam, the Number two PPV of the year for WWE.

It seems to me that this is the wrong ending to the long reign that CM Punk has had with the WWE championship. However, if WWE is looking all the young fans who love Cena a happy, what could be better?

I would like to see Punk retain the title, yet I also see the prospect of reigniting the Cena/Punk feud of last summer quite intriguing. If Punk looses the championship, it will likely lead to a match with Cena at SummerSlam.

The match has yet to happen, but it all seems tailor made for a title change.  Is Cena really going to be the first person to cash in the Money in the Bank contract and lose?

I highly doubt that.

It will be interesting to see if CM Punk loses the championship to Cena. Could Punk revert back to his heel character last summer?

Time will tell.
