WWE News: Potential Spoiler for Heath Slater's Legends Payoff on Raw 1,000

I've said it before and I'll say it again: If you are not a fan of spoilers, there is no need to read any further.

Especially if you are looking forward to all that the WWE has in store for Monday Night's 1,000th episode of Raw—which includes the big payoff to Heath Slater's Legends angle.

After competing at Tuesday's SmackDown taping in San Diego, Calif., Road Warrior Animal stopped by the 100.3 KFAN-FM studios for Extreme Pro Wrestling Radio to discuss this coming Monday's historic 1000th episode of Raw.

The WWE Hall of Famer may have spoiled the payoff of Heath Slater's returning Raw legend angle while addressing rumors of "Stone Cold" Steve Austin's involvement with the program—who has not been announced to appear by WWE.

When asked whether The Rattlesnake will encounter Slater on the show, Animal responded, "Austin will definitely give him the stunner, ya know that's coming! Fans get ready, you're gonna see a stunner!"

A few days ago, I mentioned here that as of this week Austin's appearance was questionable, mostly due to his film obligations for a role in Grown Ups 2. So if this new information comes to fruition, we may indeed see "The Rattlesnake" back on Raw.

Obviously, a celebration of this magnitude would be almost pointless without Austin, as he was one of the people to put Raw on the map in the mid-to-late '90s. Don't get me wrong, even if he doesn't appear, I am certain the WWE will have a great show in store for us.

As I have said before, three hours may seem like a lot of time to fill, but in TV land it goes by fast. So the WWE can't afford to spend a lot of time on useless segments or one-night-only storylines. In the end, they need to make the show move and entertain both the fans at home and in attendance.

In the end, Austin may not get a a whole lot of TV time, but whatever he does, I am sure it will be memorable.
