Liverpool Transfers: Why These 3 Signings Could Alter the Reds' Destiny

Liverpool are a team at a crossroads. Brendan Rodgers has taken over from Anfield legend Kenny Dalglish and is tasked with returning the club to past glories—or at least getting them back on track.

Rodgers’ first and only signing so far is Fabio Borini, a 21-year-old Italian striker who offers huge promise but is still relatively unproven.

He’ll surely do more business before the new season starts and may well offload £35 million signing Andy Carroll to fund some of it.
