LSU Football: What Happened to the Quotable Les Miles?
The afternoon session of SEC Media Days was highly-anticipated due to the presence of the always flavorful coach of the LSU Tigers, Les Miles.
Talk about one of your all-time let-downs.
A subdued Les Miles met with the media, and spoke the same style as fellow SEC "leaders of men" Nick Saban and Gene Chizik speak.
Coach speak.
Nothing about players have "the chest" to compete in the SEC. Nothing about the "Bayou STATE." And he didn't even tell us to "have a great day."
Did the 21-0 loss to Alabama in the BCS National Championship Game zap the personality from the Mad Hatter?
He's part of the reason we are all here.
Granted, John L. Smith explaining what it means to "get your piss hot" was great, but Miles is supposed to swing for the fences here, not take three strikes in a row.
Maybe the raging feud between Miles and Mike The Tiger is deeper than we thought, and the LSU head coach was betrayed even further by his "Tiger Son."
Stealing quotes, in addition to using Robert Griffin III as the Tiger quarterback? The feud between Mike The Tiger and Les Miles has clearly reached a boiling point.
