Ibra Signs for PSG
1 of 5Swedish striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has signed with Paris Saint-Germain (ESPNSoccernet).
Ibrahimovic, 30, was part of a reported ยฃ65 million package PSG paid to AC Milan. Defender Thiago Silva, who signed last week, was also part of the package.
ESPNSoccernet reports that Ibrahimovic will earn ยฃ13 million per year in wages. He has signed a three-year contract.
Ibrahimovic is due for a medical in Paris on Wednesday morning.
Dempsey Still Not a Red
2 of 5American midfielder Clint Dempsey has not signed for Liverpool, according to both Fulham and Liverpool (BBC Sport).
Dempsey, 29, has been linked heavily with the Reds. Confusion arose overnight (American time) when an Internet story seemed to indicate Dempsey had signed with Liverpool.
BBC Sport explains:
"A post on Fenway Sports Group's website said Liverpool had "added Clint Dempsey to a team that came within a game of winning the FA Cup".
The website report was later removed, and the Reds also confirmed they had not signed the player.

Liverpool did not give any details on how the post came to be published.

Chelsea Bid for Willian Rejected
3 of 5Shakhtar Donetsk have rejected Chelsea's ยฃ27 million bid for Brazilian forward Willian (Daily Mail).
Shakhtar manager Mircea Lucescu has reportedly said the club will accept nothing less than ยฃ32 million, or the same fee Chelsea paid for Belgian winger Eden Hazard earlier this summer.
Willian, 23, has earned two senior caps for Brazil. He joined Shakhtar in 2007 from Corinthians.
United Fail in Lucas Moura Bid
4 of 5Sao Paulo have rejected Manchester United's ยฃ29.8 million bid for midfielder Lucas Moura (Daily Mirror).
United reportedly sent a "delegation" to Brazil last week hoping to sign Moura, 19. This was United's second bid; Sao Paulo rejected an offer of ยฃ25.9 million.
According to the Mirror, United's latest offer met Sao Paulo's asking price. Club president Juvenal Juvencio, however, has reportedly rejected it in order to coax more money out of United.
Marathon Man?

Why is this important? Well, Dimitar Berbatov's agent has been quoted as saying Berbatov "would run to AC Milan" (Eurosport-Yahoo!).
Presumably, running the whole 1,040 miles could cut those 256 hours in half.
Berbatov, a 31-year-old Bulgarian forward, has been told he can leave Manchester United this summer. He has been linked with a number of clubs, including AC Milan (talkSPORT).
