London 2012 Olympics: Complete Guide to Opening Weekend

Adam FriedgoodJul 24, 2012

The 2012 Summer Olympics are officially set to begin on Friday, July 27.

An official schedule can be found at NBCOlympics.com.

NBC will have exclusive coverage of all 32 Olympic sports and will be broadcasting on both TV and online.

On TV, NBC will be broadcasting events on a number of stations, including NBC, NBC Sports Network, MSNBC, CNBC and Bravo. They will also be creating two new stations on select cable providers—Specialty: Soccer and Specialty: Basketball—for extra coverage on these two important events.

For Spanish viewers, Telemundo will also have live coverage of a ton of Olympic events.

If an event you want to watch isn't on TV, don't worry. There is still another way to catch all the action live. All 32 sports and 302 events will be broadcasting live online at NBCOlympics.com.

The 17 days of Olympic games are sure to be action-packed with stars like LeBron James, Michael Phelps and Usain Bolt looking to add more gold medals to their collections.

Here is a complete guide of where and when to watch every event during opening weekend.
