John Cena: WWE Superstar's Victory over CM Punk Is an Unfortunate Guarantee

Patrick ClarkeJun 7, 2018

It is a guarantee that WWE superstar John Cena will take over the reins as WWE Champion on RAW 1000 next Monday night when he overcomes current champ CM Punk, unfortunately.

Cena earned a matchup with CM Punk after cashing in on his Money in the Bank contract, which he won via his ladder match victory at Sunday's pay-per-view.

The moment Cena emerged at Money in the Bank this past weekend, we already knew what was next.

Ladies and gentlemen, WWE Champion John Cena.

The supernova of superstars, Cena can and will only pursue the title belt in the most challenging way possible. CM Punk is no joke as far as stars go, but Cena has far too much momentum at this point in time to come up short on such a glorious occasion next Monday night.

The good guy will win out in the end, just like he did at Money in the Bank.

For Cena, it's all about hustle, respect, loyalty and consistency. We know what to expect from Cena and we know what to expect Monday night on RAW 1,000.

You would be a hopeless dreamer to believe that CM Punk will shut down Cena's bid for the WWE Championship.

Punk has experienced his time in the spotlight, and Cena has been made to look like such a hard-working competitor, he simply cannot lose.

All signs point to a successful journey to the title for Cena on RAW 1000, and all indications based on the past few days' events suggest that the fate of Monday night's coming battle is an unfortunate guarantee.
