Daniel Bryan: 7 Potential Rivalries for the WWE Superstar

As cheesy as it looked on television, maybe the best thing to take Daniel Bryan's mind off losing another opportunity at the WWE Title was to ask A.J. to marry him.

And while the wedding may not be as comical as ODB and Eric Young, the 1,000th Raw episode will be filled with nuptials and love and wrestling.

Excuse me while I throw up.

Losing a WWE Title match again basically took one of the company's greatest performers out of the title picture.

At least in matches with CM Punk. And now, what happens to Bryan? It is almost certain Punk will feud with John Cena (t-minus six days and counting). And Bryan is left out on an island.

Who fills the void? Who can deliver like Punk and sell for Bryan, and vice versa?

Here are a few wrestlers who could step in and do a great job.

Yes! Yes! Yes!

The Miz

He deserves a push. Making his way back to the WWE and having him crash the MITB party was genius.

Can he create magic again like he did before?

A feud with Bryan would be great—pitting student against teacher.

This is not Alex Riley.

This is better.

Cody Rhodes

This would show more of how far Rhodes has come as opposed to Bryan and his fall from the top of the ladder.

The crafty arrogance of Rhodes and the technical style of Bryan would make for a great match and even better feud.

Tyson Kidd

I like Kidd and his sudden rise up the food chain.

While fighting the likes of Tensai is "David and Goliath," Kidd needs a better program. And Damien Sandow does not make sense in this case.

Bryan can do that and help Kidd reach main-event status.

Alberto Del Rio

While it looks like Alberto Del Rio will be tied up with Rey Mysterio this summer, don't count out this scenario.

Del Rio really sold for Sheamus at MITB, and the match was much better than I had thought it would be.

I personally would love to see this happen.

John Cena

He will have the WWE Title in six days. Does it mean he could start a triangle feud with both Punk and Bryan?

Bryan crashes the party in this case, which would be a great twist to the past MITB winners.

While Cena will put the contract front and center for the 1,000th Raw episode, there could be other twists added to the story.

This may be the best thing to happen to the WWE in some time.

Chris Jericho

While I would rather see him in a program with Christian, this could work as well.

Jericho needs another feud. Bryan needs a dance partner.

It could be amazing.

Kane

Could both these wrestlers be vying for the affection of AJ?

We have seen Kane in this kind of situation before.

It could happen again.
