AJ, Daniel Bryan and the Top 5 Raw Power Couples

Over the years, the WWE has successfully supplied us with several love stories.

Almost all of them end in some sort of controversy, but nonetheless, they proved entertaining while they lasted.

Now, the WWE has supplied us with their latest coupling, A.J. and Daniel Bryan. Even though they have seen their share of ups and downs, it now appears they have found common ground. As wedding plans have been set for next week's 1,000th episode of Raw. In the end, it appears this could be the new Raw power couple that we have been waiting for.

After their initial relationship fizzled, both of their careers skyrocketed, as they have been the main focus of Raw storylines and have continually kept fans guessing.

In the end, these two may only be starting their run, but they are not the first power couple in Raw's history.

That being said, I have compiled a list of several WWE power couples that were exclusive to the Raw brand. Remember, I may have missed your favorite power couple. If that's the case, feel free to list them in the comments section.

Zack Ryder and Eve

This relationship was a slow burn, as it took several months of build-up before the two finally went on a date.

Then as it appeared the two would be unstoppable. That was until Ryder suffered an injury at the hands of Kane.

Luckily for Ryder, his best friend John Cena was able to protect Eve from several Kane attacks.

However, Cena's hero tactics, would ultimately garner Eve's attention. In the end, Ryder's relationship with Eve and friendship with Cena would ultimately dissolve and never rekindle.

Santino and Beth Phoenix

Santino and Beth Phoenix were the best comedy duo to ever couple up on Raw.

Ultimately, they embraced their fame and wound up calling themselves "Glamarella".

In the end, they had a very beneficial partnership as each helped the other win and maintain singles gold.

Edge and Lita

The most controversial couple in Raw history may have never been if Matt Hardy didn't sustain an injury.

This pair not only cost Matt Hardy his job, but would go down in infamy as the only couple to have a "Live Sex Show" on Raw.

Ultimately, the two managed to have major success while they were together and constantly kept WWE fans on their toes.

Eddie Guerrero and Chyna

Mamacita, that one word said it all when it came to this relationship.

This unlikely pair proved to have great chemistry on-air and were also very entertaining.

In the end, the two were not meant to be, as Guerrero was caught cheating on Chyna with two of The Godfather's Ho's.

The McMahon-Helmsley Era

This might be the most powerful couple in Raw history.

This pair came to be due to Triple H's underhanded tactics. The former WWE champ kidnapped and drugged "The Billion Dollar Princess" then took her to a drive through chapel in Vegas, and the rest is history.

These two ruled the WWE for a little over three years.

Then in 2002, after a shaky few months, the couple was set to renew their vows based on Stephanie being pregnant. 

During the wedding, Triple H revealed that he was aware that Stephanie's pregnancy was a sham and left her at the alter. Ultimately, this duo will go down in history as the best couple on Raw.
