A pair of Top Five draft picks will be the center of attention on Tuesday at the 2012 NBA Las Vegas Summer League.

The Charlotte Bobcats' Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, who scored 18 points and notched eight rebounds in his first game, will take the stage against the Minnesota Timberwolves in the final matchup of Day 5.

Before that, though, Cavaliers lottery pick Dion Waiters will put his explosive game on display for the hoops fans in attendance and watching around the world against the Phoenix Suns.

Break Down of Tuesday's Televised Matchups

Nuggets vs. Knicks

The conversation on NBA TV will largely include the name Jeremy Lin and the discussion of what the New York Knicks should be doing with him. New York has until Tuesday night to decide whether to match his offer and keep Linsanity in the Big Apple, or let him go to Houston and try to contend with the likes of Raymond Felton and Jason Kidd at point guard.

On the court, though, both Denver and New York will be looking for their first win of Summer League play. Both squads are 0-2 through their first matchups, but the Nuggets boast a talented scorer in Jordan Hamilton, who is averaging 18 points per game in Las Vegas. Look for Hamilton's hot shooting to lead the Nuggets past the Knicks.

Spurs vs. Lakers

The L.A. Lakers have had a tough time through their first three Summer League games, dropping each one. On Tuesday afternoon in Vegas, they take on the San Antonio Spurs, who were led by a sizzling Cory Joseph in their first outing. Joseph scored 18 points on 63.6 percent shooting from the field.

Considering that there aren't many 2012 NBA draft stars in this matchup, you will likely spend most of your time wishing for a Western Conference playoff clash between the two historic franchises.

Cavaliers vs. Suns

Although it won't help Cleveland Cavaliers fans get over LeBron James, the play of rookie Tyler Zeller has been solid through Cleveland's first two Summer League outings, and the future looks bright for one of the NBA's worst teams last season. Zeller is averaging 16.5 points per game in Vegas and shooting nearly 59 percent from the floor.

On the Suns' side, Markieff Morris continues to grow. He scored 21 in Phoenix's win over the New York Knicks. Morris will need to step up on Tuesday if the Suns are to remain undefeated. The matchup to watch in this one will be Zeller vs. Morris without question.

Timberwolves vs. Bobcats

If you plan on staying up late Tuesday night then tune in to NBA TV to catch what is sure to be a stellar individual battle between two talented wing players. Minnesota's Wes Johnson and Charlotte's Michael Kidd-Gilchrist have both made their presence felt in Las Vegas, leading their respective teams in scoring through the first few days.

Kidd-Gilchrist, the No. 2 overall selection in last month's draft, stuffed the stat sheet in his first Summer League game, scoring 18 points, grabbing eight rebounds, dishing out five assists and recording four steals. All eyes should be on the Kentucky product Tuesday night in Las Vegas, as he looks to build on the early momentum he has created this offseason.
