Watch Most Phenomenal Kickball Catch of All Time

Here is the only kickball catch you will ever need to see. 

I'm not sure when the kickball craze began anew, but I never once considered it could feature such an amazing athletic feat as the one we see here. 

In fact, I will go ahead and call it the greatest kickball catch ever performed and not go through the rigmarole of actually checking whether it's true or not. 

The video is from the 2012 DC Kickball Open Finals, and the YouTube description mentions the dynamic duo making this catch consists of Jaime Gruber and Jess Robertson.

The man in blue smashes a blooper into left field, and it looks like trouble. But that's when our hero comes flying into the screen with one thing on her mind, keeping the damn ball in play. 

Sure, she could have dove for the ball and made a fine diving catch, but that's not how she rolls. Instead, she decides to make a diving kick to flip the ball into the air for her teammate to conclude the most jaw-dropping stunt we have seen with a kickball. 

I once scoffed at people who got amped to waste a day kicking a ball that wasn't into a net, but I scoff no longer. 

Because these players have serious game.
