ATP Atlanta Tennis Championships 2012: Schedule, Live Stream and Preview
The 2012 ATP Atlanta Tennis Championships are set to begin this week, as the world's top players return to the hard courts in anticipation of the 2012 London Olympics and the season's final Grand Slam at the U.S. Open later this summer.
All eyes will be on American John Isner in Atlanta this week, as the top-seeded star is coming off a win over Lleyton Hewitt at the Hall of Fame Tennis Championships in Newport, R.I. Isner dropped just one set in five matches and looked dominant for the majority.
The singles draw should ultimately come down to Isner and two-time event champion Mardy Fish when it's all said and done, as the two veterans of the sport are poised to meet for the title this weekend.

Will Mardy Fish Make It Three Straight over Isner in Atlanta?
American Mardy Fish has owned the hard courts of Atlanta over the past two years. Fish has topped John Isner the past two years in a row, coming back to win in three sets on both occasions after dropping the first.
Isner and Fish are the highest-ranked Americans at No. 11 and No. 13 respectively, and will head into the final stretch of the ATP season with plenty to prove after coming up short at Wimbledon this summer.
If they can reach top form over the next few weeks, Fish and Isner will both be favorites to contend for a medal at the 2012 London Summer Olympics while representing the Stars and Stripes.
