WWE Money in the Bank 2012: Stars That Would Make WWE Title Contract Match Epic

Brian MaziqueJul 15, 2012

The battle for a contract to challenge for the WWE title needs a high-flyer, and that should be Rey Mysterio. It's about time Mysterio returned, and this would be an amazing way for him to re-establish himself in the spotlight.

The size of the field for the WWE contract match is pretty small—at least in comparison to the stacked, eight-man field for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship contract.

Right now, the field includes John Cena, Big Show, Kane and Chris Jericho.

The WWE title contract match has a specific stipulation. Each participant has to be an ex-WWE champion. Mysterio passes that test, but who else could bring the number even with the World Heavyweight contract match?

Undertaker

Yes, the Taker.

If the Undertaker wins, he could set up his final WrestleMania match, and it could be for the WWE title come April of next year. I know these things aren't dragged out this long, but this is the Undertaker.

If there is any superstar that has earned special concessions, it's Taker.

He could hold on to the contract until the right opponent has the title, and he could then go out on his terms.

The Miz

This one is pretty easy, even though at this point it seems that he's better suited for the World Heavyweight Championship scene. Miz is a former WWE champion, but his status has fallen off so much since he won the first Money in the Bank ladder match.

He used that win to win his first and only WWE title. The Miz could be on his way back into WWE relevance or just there to job for other stars.

Either way, he has the best chance of appearing to fill out the match.
