WWE Money in the Bank 2012: Take It to the Bank Predictions
Money in the Bank is one of the most exciting pay-per-views of the year. Not only do the matches provide jaw-dropping moments, but because of the power the briefcase has, we get a good indication of who we can expect to wear world title gold around their waist.
Let me give you the reality of every match and who walks out the winner.
WWE Tag Team Champions R-Truth & Kofi Kingston vs. Hunico & Camacho
1 of 5If you care to watch the pre-show, I don't think there is any room for surprise. Kofi Kingston and R-Truth get the win.
I really wish there was more to say here, but Hunico and Camacho are two characters that I have no interest in. I like Hunico in the ring but I am so bored with him. I enjoyed him more when he was being the fake Sin Cara.
What do Savio Vega's Los Boricuas, Konnan, Hunico and Camacho have in common? Obviously, all the same gimmick. Let's try something new.
World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus vs. Alberto Del Rio
2 of 5The reality is Sheamus will remain World Heavyweight Champion.
Sheamus is over with the crowd, but I do fear WWE needs to act quickly on changing up the way Sheamus is booked. There is never a personal issue with Sheamus as a face.
I understand he has the title, but I need more with his feuds than just somebody wanting his belt. I need to see personal conflict that makes me want to buy and see Sheamus beat somebody up.
I see Sheamus taking the World Heavyweight Championship into SummerSlam. This match with Alberto Del Rio is only happening because it didn't happen in June like it was suppose to because of Del Rio's concussion. I don't think WWE has any plans until after SummerSlam for Del Rio to ever have the title.
Sheamus walks in to SummerSlam as champion, but who he faces there remains a wide-open mystery.
Money in the Bank Ladder Match for a WWE Championship Contract
3 of 5I fully expect a fifth person to be added to this match and that person being Rey Mysterio.
I think Mysterio will be added on the spot and speaking of spot, will provided a great bit of potential for a few big spots in this ladder match.
The reality is John Cena will win the WWE Championship Money in the Bank briefcase.
It may be predictable and disgusting to some fans but that's the way it will be. At first, I thought Chris Jericho would win and be the first guy to unsuccessfully cash in but I'm going with John Cena as my final answer.
Cena wins the briefcase and won't have it for very long. I wouldn't be shocked if he uses it for a match at SummerSlam.
WWE Champion CM Punk vs. Daniel Bryan (Special Referee: AJ)
4 of 5Anybody who reads my work, follows me on the radio or Chair Shot Reality knows where I am going with the WWE Championship match. I feel CM Punk walks out still the champion but the bigger deal is AJ finally makes a decision.
She makes her choice of who to side with, but its not Daniel Bryan or CM Punk. It makes no sense for her to be with either of them. The way this great story has developed, there needs to be a mystery man behind door No. 3.
It would be a great way to introduce somebody new rather than the same old format of debuting someone with video vignettes and squash matches.
Introduce Dean Ambrose as AJ's boyfriend. His character is as crazy as AJ. I call him the modern-day Brian Pillman. He's entered her life and has given her the attention she wants.
Somehow the title remains with CM Punk who will move on to SummerSlam. Daniel Bryan will feud with AJ's new boyfriend because all of this started with her and Bryan.
Money in the Bank Ladder Match for World Heavyweight Championship Contract
5 of 5A lot of young guys and interesting scenarios. The reality is Cody Rhodes will walk out with the World Heavyweight Championship briefcase.
I respect Cody Rhodes, but am not a huge fan of him yet. I don't get excited to see him. He doesn't draw for me. That's just me.
I liked him when he thought his face was disfigured, I thought it showed great range by him as a performer. Now I am back to being bored with him. I know other people are big fans of his, so I wait to see if he can win me over.
I don't think Rhodes or Ziggler should be the ones winning this match because they already on the path of being in the world title matches without needing the briefcase.
They could be booked in the World Heavyweight Championship match for SummerSlam very easily without having to win Money in the Bank.
The briefcase should be reserved for someone more unsuspecting who WWE has a year to build up. Tyson Kidd, Tensai or even a very new Damien Sandow.
However, these predictions aren't what I WANT to see, they are what's going to happen.
Cody Rhodes wins the briefcase and carries it around for quite a while.
There are your predictions, your reality...take it to the bank.
