B/R Full Ride: Is the Package Deal for Robert Nkemdiche a Scandal?
Robert Nkemdiche is no stranger to headlines.
The nation's consensus No. 1 overall recruit shocked the college football world last month with his surprise commitment to Dabo Swinney and the Clemson Tigers.
The 6'5", 270-pounder was again in the news last week, when the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported that Nkemdiche said that his commitment would be cemented if Clemson offered his teammate and good friend, Ryan Carter, a scholarship.
Nkemdiche later clarified his statement in the New York Times, stating that he would still go to Clemson if Carter didn't get an offer.
The controversy may have subsided, but the debate on "package deals" remains. Are "package deals" for recruits acceptable, or should those conversations be kept behind closed doors?
SEC lead blogger Barrett Sallee and Your Best 11 lead blogger Michael Felder debate in this edition of Bleacher Report's Full Ride.
Full Ride is Bleacher Report's weekly college football recruiting show that pulls back the curtain to give you the hottest news, analysis, interviews and highlights.
